While its primary focus is Meaford, the club's commitment to service extends well beyond the local community.
Clean Water
Since 2019, Meaford Rotarians have partnered with the Canada Africa Community Health Alliance to construct clean-water wells on Ukerewe Island, Tanzania, improving access to safe drinking water, reducing water-borne illness, and helping more children, particularly girls, attend school. The club has also donated a medical incubator to a Tanzanian hospital and is now supporting projects that provide safe drinking water to schools in Guatemala.
Service Above Self
From parks and public spaces to healthcare, education, social services and international humanitarian work, the Rotary Club of Meaford continues to demonstrate its guiding principle of Service Above Self through projects that create lasting benefits for both the local community and people beyond its borders.
